I was born and raised in Riverside, California and attended college at
UCLA where I got my B.A. in American Literature and Education. I
went to Cal State San Bernardino to get my teacher credential and
recently I finished my Masters Degree at Chapman University. I love
teaching 6th grade at Corona Ranch. I love my job, and I am very
happy to be at this wonderful and distinguished school!
In my spare time I like to read, workout, cook, swim, scrapbook, go to
the movies, and spend time with my friends. I also like to spend time
with family. Additionally, I enjoy going to the beach and traveling. I
love going to New York and San Francisco. I recently got to go to
Hawaii for the first time and it was AMAZING! I have also traveled to
other parts of the United States and spent a summer in England while I
was in college. Someday I would like to visit Greece, France, Italy,
and Spain.
If I am to teach my students anything, it is to become independent,
responsible and respectful people who believe in themselves, who have
the courage and the desire to aim high in life, and who will stop at
nothing to succeed.

My favorite snacks- Ice cream or frozen yogurt, Wheat Thins, most
fruit, and anything with peanut butter
My favorite stores- Nordstrom's, Crate and Barrel, Express, Bath
and Body Works, Pottery Barn, Macy's
My favorite music- I like to listen in KISS FM, STAR, and KROQ.
I also like country music. Some of my favorite artists and bands are
Daughtry, Faith Hill, Green Day, Jack Johnson, John Mayer,
Charlotte Martin, Carrie Underwood, Keane, The Fray, Five for
Fighting, Tim Magraw, Keith Urban, Julie Roberts, Coldplay, Jack's
Mannequin, Dixie Chicks, Snow Patrol, Vega 4, Howie Day, Martina
McBride, Kellie Pickler, Beyonce, 30 Seconds to Mars, and the list
could go on forever. These are just a few that are on my Ipod.
My Favorite Books- I LOVE to read! Some of my favorite books
include Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, To Kill a Mockingbird, White
Oleander, Great Expectations, East of Eden, My Sister's Keeper,
Lovely Bones, Tuesdays With Morrie, The Glass Castle, The
Notebook, and Middlemarch.
My Heroes- There are many people that I admire and look up to.
These are just a few. My parents, all of the soldiers who are fighting
in Iraq, the heroes of 9-11, and my dance teacher Terri, who fought
and won her battle with breast cancer.
